Why We Do What We Do
For well over 60 years, Bayer has been dedicated to the well-being of people with diabetes, leading the way in diabetes research and introducing dozens of innovations to help people living with this complex disease. Another Milestone from Bayer Diabetes Care
Bayer's innovation isn't simply a Blood Glucose Meter or a Blood Glucose Test Strip. Bayer recognizes that the needs of people with diabetes and healthcare professionals vary extensively and is developing products, services, and support systems to suit the needs of the individual. This approach has allowed Bayer to create an array of user-friendly products.
In Fall 2002, the brand names and package design for the Glucometer Blood Glucose Meters and Blood Glucose Test Strips changed, but the great products inside remained the same.
This name change provided the foundation for the introduction of a series of exciting new products and services in 2003 and beyond, including the BREEZE® Blood Glucose Monitoring System, and the CONTOUR® meter, the first single strip meter with No Coding™ technology... and much, much more.
